Atelier Archipel is a play area for children aged 3 to 6, with materials inspired by the sea and islands, allowing them to build, explore and invent stories alone or together, accompanied by the villa's team of mediators.

The universe, designed to be touched and manipulated, gives free rein to their imagination and creativity.

Through hands-on building activities, the workshop provides children with an opportunity to develop independence and learn by doing. Parents are therefore asked to leave their children in the care of the villa’s staff for the duration of the workshop.

Boutis: The Art of Provençal Embroidery
with MARIE GASTINI, winner of the Villa Swagatam x Æquō grant, Design Parade 2025

This workshop offers an introduction to the traditional Provençal embroidery technique known as ‘boutis’, presented in an accessible format (30x30 cm). Using a simple design inspired by the flora of the south of France – lemon, olive and orange trees – participants will learn the key steps involved in creating an embroidered piece, from sketching to transferring the design onto fabric.
